O'Sullivan, Hendry predicts rapid rise of this chinese snooker player

Ronnie O'Sullivan has predicted Xiao Xintong to be the next big player in world snooker but once " He properly learns the game". O'Sullivan has predicted rapid rise of China's snooker player once he properly knows how and when to play a snooker shot.

The 23-year old snooker player could make to only one quarter final this season which O'Sullivan regards as naivety in the way he plays the game especially the tactical side of it. But once he learns, O'Sullivan believes that he has enormous potential to bypass various snooker rivals.

Xiao reminded Ronnie of the attacking Stephen Hendry in terms of his attacking play back in 2016 where he enjoyed a shocking win against John Higgins in the German Masters to reach his first last - 16.

O'Sullivan said on an Instagram Live that - " I think that Xintong is better than all of them. He is unbelievably talented but he just doesn't know the game"

Hendry agreed that Xintong has the capability and is very talented and also remembered Alan McManus referring him as the future Champion.

"He was playing a safety shot and instead of leaving the white tight on the cushion, he was allowing the player to get on the bottom of the cue ball. Unless you know that part of the game and respect that part of the game,however well you pot, you're never going to win titles regularly. But I rate him very very good"
