Snooker news - "He kept me on my toes" - Ronnie reveals greatest rivalry in snooker

Ronnie O'Sullivan spoke to Eurosport about how John Higgins is the player who " kept him on his toes more than anybody". Ronnie spoke on a vodcast by Eurosport and told them how his rivalry with John Higgins elevated his overall game.

O'Sullivan and Higgins have had 69 matches in their snooker career and Ronnie has won 37 of the encounters. But according to Ronnie, John always kept him on his toes.

We've had some great battles. I've taken some really bad beatings from John, they've hurt, but like I said, when you're younger the ones that hurt makes you stronger 



"If I was taking those beatings now, I'd run a mile. I'd be like "I'm not up for this" but when you're younger, you've got no fear. But as you get older, you don't want to take those beatings, so you don't learn so much when you're older.
