Ronnie threatens to withdraw from Championship League

Ronnie threatens to withdraw from the Championship League 2020 if he's not allowed to take his own food. The Championship league is held at the Marshall Arena Complex in Milton Keynes. O'Sullivan is set to play in the championships league against Kishan Hirani, Chris Wakelin and Micheal Georgiou in group 10 of the 64- man opening stage.

O'Sullivan is not keen on eating hotel cooked food and emphasised on bringing his own food during the tournament. He fears that it could be risky eating food cooked by the hotel staff.

"As long as my desire to stay healthy is respected and I could take my own food, I am happy to play. Once I heard of the other measures being taken, I was happy to play"

"I don't trust people cooking my food at the hotel during these time. I have been assured that it will be okay but you never know until you arrive there and see what happens"

"If I feel the food situation is not right and I am not allowed to bring my own pre-prepared food, I will feel my health is most important"

"Until there are vaccines, you're going to be anxious and worry about the virus and not take risks. So when I get there, hopefully I feel safe.. If I don't and I'm not happy, then my health has to come first and I could leave"

O'Sullivan last played in the snooker shootout and now will play in the opening 64-man stage. Let's hope he gets what he wants and hopefully we'll get to see the rocket again on the snooker table.
