Ronnie is not surprised by Trump's record-breaking achievement as he thinks he is capable to do wonders in the game of snooker. He's a brilliant player, he's got so much talent, cue power he can play shots that no one else can play "He's a confidence player as well, you can be 5-6 frames up on him but if he starts fancying it, the scoreboard goes out of the window. He pots and pots and scores and scores and he does it so quickly as well" I'm not surprised he's won 6 tournaments this season because there's so many tournaments now, if you play 18 tournaments, you can win one in three, one in two! My dad was away and when he went away, it took me a year to get my head around accepting that he wasn't going to be around" "When I won that tournament, I devoted that win to him and if I never won another tournament, it would be fine" The 5 time world championship thinks that he would have surpassed Hendry's record of 7 world titles if he had not lost his attention. Image
Credits - Getty Images Ronnie O'Sullivan spoke to Eurosport about how John Higgins is the player who " kept him on his toes more than anybody". Ronnie spoke on a vodcast by Eurosport and told them how his rivalry with John Higgins elevated his overall game. O'Sullivan and Higgins have had 69 matches in their snooker career and Ronnie has won 37 of the encounters. But according to Ronnie, John always kept him on his toes. We've had some great battles. I've taken some really bad beatings from John, they've hurt, but like I said, when you're younger the ones that hurt makes you stronger  "If I was taking those beatings now, I'd run a mile. I'd be like "I'm not up for this" but when you're younger, you've got no fear. But as you get older, you don't want to take those beatings, so you don't learn so much when you're older.
